Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian and his wife Margaret were featured on the cover of Tampa Magazine’s December 2021 issue, and the Iron Chef gave a shout-out to Buddy Brew Coffee.
“Buddy Brew has become Geoffrey’s go-to coffee stop,” the article states. We reached out to Zakarian via Instagram and he confirmed that when he’s in town, he visits Buddy Brew’s Hyde Park Village location “three or four times a week.”
Margaret, who grew up in Tampa, lists Donatello’s as a longtime favorite. Will they open a restaurant in Tampa? Only time will tell. The article says when asked, the couple didn’t rule it out.
